To register a Private Limited Company in India, the following key documents are generally required:

  • For Directors: PAN Card, Aadhaar Card or Passport, Voter ID or Driving License, and Passport-size photograph.
  • For Registered Office: A recent utility bill (electricity/gas/water), a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the property owner, and a Rent Agreement or Property Registry copy.

A statutory audit is legally mandated by the government (e.g., under the Companies Act) to examine the truth and fairness of financial statements. It must be conducted by an independent external Chartered Accountant. Under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, a Tax Audit is mandatory if:
